To keep the Park’s collection of more than 1000 birds healthy and in top condition requires constant care and attention. A staff of over 20 keepers maintains the aviaries or look after the husbandry of our birds.

The Birds in the Park generally enjoy excellent health but like people they occasionally fall ill. For this reason a full time veterinarian monitors the bird’s health and provides treatment when they fall ill or get injured. The veterinary facility is the best and most well equipped in Indonesia.

[Sastra Bali Villa] Welcome to Peter & Lia's B&B Canggu Beach

Greetings from Peter & Lia's B&B

Peter & Lia's B&B is placed at Echo beach-Canggu-Bali. Round 40min from airport and 30min from Seminyak/Kuta area.

Peter & Lia's B&B is a quite and relaxing place. You can do swimming at our pool, relaxing at our bale bengong (gazebo) while feeding hundreds fish at our fish pond, or walk to the beach with only 3minutes walks. There's also horse riding available close by, and if you play surf, our place is a perfect place to stay :).
Check out the wave only from 2nd floor, grab your board, and (once again) only takes 3minutes walking distance to some surfing breaks at Canggu beach.
There's some warung (small local restaurant) around. And at the night time, there's fresh seafood restaurant close by, where you can get your dinner while chill out with the live music.

We charge USD 140/room/night. Breakfast included, tea, coffee and fresh fruits is available whole day as our complimentary. But for minimum a week stay, we can give you discount.

We've 3 big rooms, en-suite bathroom with cozy bath inside. Also big mirror, wood wardrobe, air conditioner and flat tv inside. You can choose between our 2 rooms downstairs (3 meters from pool) or 3rd room (only one) upstairs with sunset and beach/ocean view.

Just for your information, we're second closest villa from the beach.

But before than, we want to make sure you understand that we're Bed & Breakfast, rent each room (3 rooms available), not rent whole villa. Sorry, but a lot if people miss understood.

Semua objek yang terkena cahaya available maupun artifisial akan memantulkan atau menyerap sinar itu dengan persentase tertentu, sesuai dengan sifat benda. Benda yang lebih gelap akan menyerap lebih banyak cahaya, sedangkan benda yang lebih terang (putih) cenderung memantulkan lebih banyak cahaya. Daya pantul benda terhadap sinar yang datang bergantung pada permukaannya. Bila permukaan benda kasar, cahaya dipantulkan ke segala arah. Jika permukaan benda halus, sinar dipantulkan sejajar. Dengan kata lain, pantulan benda bisa bersifat diffuse reflection dan specular reflection. Lembut atau kerasnya cahaya bergantung pada permukaan benda. Nah, konssep pemantulan dan penyerapan diadopsi aksesori lighting untuk menghasilkan kualitas cahaya yang bagus. Sebab, cahaya bersifat selalu komplemen dengan bayangan. Salah satu fungsi berbagai aksesori lighting adalah mengatur bayangan untuk memperoleh dimensi yang menarik.

Cahaya keras membentuk bayangan yang lebih gelap. Bayangan terlalu gelap itu sangat mengganggu tampilan objek.

Cahaya Langsung dan Tak Langsung

Sifat cahaya berelasi dengan kualitas cahaya. Berdasar sifat, cahaya dibedakan menjadi dua. Yakni, cahaya langsung dan tidak langsung. Cahaya langsung (direct lighting) bisa berupa sinar dengan intensitas besar maupun kecil, main light ataupun fill in light. Sedangkan cahaya tidak langsung berupa cahaya pantulan dan cahaya terhalang. Cahaya tak langsung memberikan pengaruh pada objek yang tersinari, yakni menjadi lembut. Misalnya, cahaya aksesori umbrella bersifat pantulan atau dikenal sebagai teknik bouncing. Umbrella transparan maupun softbox menggunakan dasar cahaya terhalang.

Cahaya yang menimpa objek secara langsung atau tanpa penghalang berasal dari available maupun artificial light. Sumber cahaya artifisial yang langsung -berupa flash, lampu kilat ataupun strobo- memberikan perbedaan berupa kontras tinggi dan bayangan keras. Penggunaan intensitas cahayanya besar (frontal) sehingga akan mengakibatkan penerangan yang kasar (harsh).

Kualitas cahaya langsung berpengaruh pada kekontrasan objek yang difoto. Bila posisi external flash terintegrasi di atas kamera tanpa menggeser letaknya, hasil foto flat dan keras, sehingga berpengaruh pada hasil bayangan. Sedangkan cahaya tak langsung (indirect lighting) terjadi apabila ada penghalang maupun cahaya dipantulkan sebelum mengenai objek, seperti difusi, translucent, maupun bouncing. Ada dua jenis peralatan lighting, yakni flash internal dan eksternal. Flash internal terintegrasi dalam kamera. Flash eksternal dibagi menjadi beberapa jenis yakni, strobe, flash dan portable lighting.

Strobe dikenal sebagai lampu studio, studio lighting, atau strobo. Kelebihan lampu studio itu, selain mempunyai daya dan intensitas cahaya yang besar, kontinuitas pemotretannya tetap berlangsung tanpa penggantian baterai. Namun, kelemahann peralatan tersebut terletak pada ketidakleluasaan geraknya. Selain itu, recycle time-nya tidak secepat flash.
